Speaking is power…

We are power and we take it back,

It’s ours to take, it is ours to keep,

Power is Freedom, power is human,

Speaking is power and I take it back

Because I am power and I am out of control...

Power is not something you can control,

We try to do it as humans,

But also the systems are here for control,

To keep you in boxes, do you know this truth?

We shut our eyes for it, but it is real...

I am not joking, systems are here to keep you in control,

When do you take your power back?

When do you speak up for yourself?

You can take it back, your own power,

What is holding you back?

I was afraid to take it back, I was afraid to speak up,

But everything is happening right in front of us,

The control is already here, just open your eyes,

That’s all I say; so you can take back your power,

You don’t have to be afraid, because we are protected...

We are more than a body and mind,

We are human with a soul inside of us,

And we can do so much more when we just believe in ourself,

Now is the time to believe and to speak you truth,

Speaking is power and it’s yours to take…
